Configure your laptop, iBook or PDA for wireless internet Access. Teachers College provides ubiquitous wireless internet access points. With one-on-one instruction, you will learn how to configure your laptop for wireless internet access.
Requirements: Bring your laptop or PDA and a wireless network card. You will need a wireless 802.11b or 802.11g network card supporting 128-bit WEP encryption. Wireless network cards are available for purchase. Check for software and hardware compatibility of your computer and operating system before making your purchase. Read all software and hardware installation guides included with the wireless network card.
